10 Things That Made Me Smile Today...
.1. Sleeping in until 7:45 and somehow still getting to work on time!
2. Purchasing a ticket for a dessert theatre to be held in two weeks.
3. Knowing that (given stat holiday and remaining vacation time) each week in May will be a 4 day work week for me.
4. Sharing Jelly Bellies with someone who appreciates them as much as I do.
5. Seeing the sun on Friday evening after a week of miserable, cold rain.
6. The excitement on someone's face to share progress toward a goal.
7. Kristi's "Potty Song"
8. Samosas, Chicken Korma, and Roti.
9. Reflecting on Trinidad and connecting with those who experienced it with me.
10. Crawling into my pj's before 10 pm and thinking of what I would like to read for the next hour or so...

Wow, #3 is great! Good for you!!
Thanks for the shout out!
#8- isn't a 'samosa' a drink??? Just a thought...
I love hanging with you!!
Your faithful reader....
i like roti too. Your second faithful reader (but not so often commenter)
The best way I can describe a samosa is that it is the indian equivalent of an egg roll...but triangular and different filling. P and I had them for lunch, veggie samosas, with potato and curry and other stuff inside
Ah Kristi I'm not expert but I think it's "mamosa".
I love samosa's too Snaud. They are my favorite. Wes can't eat them now because he had a bad case of the flu and right before he had eaten samosas...you can guess the rest.
My new favorite food is Thai. Have you tried? yum yum. What book are you reading. My current favorite author is Karen Kingsbury..she moves me...I love her writing!
PS..What's the potty song?
I love Thai! Especially Pad Thai. Mmmmm. I'm sorry that Wes had an unfortunate incident with samosas. He's missing out.
I believe you can find the potty song in the comments of the last post on K-dog's blog.
Unfortunately, it's been a long time since i've been able to do some novel reading. What I read last night? A book I picked up to work through with one of the girls i'm mentoring. I'm finding it a challenge to find good resources. I know they're out there...it's just a matter of laying my fingers on them. Any thoughts for what might be useful and interesting for a 15 y/o gal?
Ah yes right you are Melinda..my memory must have been foggy...I'm thinking "samosa" was what I called them after I had a "mamosa".....:)
P.S. Audrey neglected (PISH POSH) to tell you we have an international night once a month where for the last few times we've made Thai food. LOVE IT!!
