Labour Day Rule

Okay...here's a question. The labour day fashion rule, does it still apply? Tell me, people. I'm looking for some guidance here. My impression is that some still think that wearing white after Labour Day is an abomination, while others think it's an obsolete regulation. What do you think? I will confess, I wore my cream sandals this afternoon, although slightly self-consciously. I started the day in brown pumps, but when I came home from lunch, my feet begged me not to return to the torture of half-size-too-small confinement, so I wore my sandals instead. I'm thinking, I'll wear them until I can smell autumn in the air. Two of my favourite things...the smell of fall and the smell of spring. Can't beat it.

On a completely unrelated note, we hosted my brother's inlaws-to-be recently for dinner. A great family. We enjoyed them very much. I took care of desserts and I must admit, I did alright. Banana-Caramel Enchiladas and these Strawberry Cream Lady Fingers, which looked so pretty I had to take a picture.

Scuba



First paycheck back at work I got all my film developed from the summer. So I'll probably be posting lots of pics. For now, here's a few from my first-ever scuba diving experience. Jeff was a great instructor and I'd love to try it again in something deeper than the Mau's backyard pool.
